In today’s world, we’re surrounded by far too many distractions pulling us away from appreciating the present moment. Minimalism offers a path back; by stripping away the excess, we uncover what truly matters. Adesse reimagines the traditional analog clock through minimalist principles, questioning what is absolutely necessary to tell the time. Do we really need the numbers? the minute hand? the hour hand? Designed through subtraction, traditional watch features are removed. A sculptural piece is then carved out of the watch face. The face rotates, covering and revealing just enough to tell the time. Just enough to hold you in the moment.
